Alia Bhatt & Ranbir Kapoor snubbing Katrina Kaif goes viral
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have more than Karan Johar in common. For those not aware, while Ranbir was dating Katrina Kaif, Alia was the latter’s BFF. But looks like that’s a thing of past as the couple royally ignored the ‘Phone Booth’ (2022) actress at a recent event.
Not that Alia, Ranbir and Katrina were under the same roof. Ranbir and Alia were spotted at the Press Club in Mumbai, India. The ‘Brahmastra’ (2022) stars were surrounded by pictures of theirs and one of them included a candid moment of the trio from 2019. It must have certainly been awkward for the new parents to react to this photograph in particular considering that all cameras were closely watching every move of theirs. So, Ranbir and Alia did what most celebrities would have done when encountered with such an awkward moment – ignore and move on!
But their turning a blind eye did not really stop the paparazzi present nor their followers online from noticing and commenting about this uncomfortable moment. The picture in question was from Filmfare Awards night in 2019, where Katrina had a warm exchange with her ex and his current girlfriend. However, looks like this moment wasn’t so warm after all. Going by Alia’s expression at the event, it was obvious that she did not want the media to engage in any banter about the picture. RK Jr on the other hand casually browsed and event made a comment to his wife before quickly proceeding further.

Interestingly, the ‘RRR’ (2022) actress had in an interview said, “I think I know how to stay friends with my partner’s ex. I am very good friends with his exes. I love them both.” But looks like the actress wants to maintain cordial equation and not indulge any further.
Katrina and Ranbir split in 2017 after dating for almost a decade. It was said that romance blossomed between Salman Khan’s ex and Deepika Padukone’s then beau on the sets of their film ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ (2009). There were reports about Katrina-Ranbir tying the knot and also buzz around how the latter’s mother Neetu Kapoor was not in favour of this relationship. In 2018 reports suggested that Ranbir and Katrina’s bestie were a couple. Alia was often spotted spending time with the Kapoor khandaan and buzz around their wedding was growing. On 14th April 2022, the duo got hitched in an intimate ceremony at their Mumbai residence. Katrina too moved on, found love and tied the knot with actor Vicky Kaushal.
While we did not spot Alia and Katrina working out together or chilling like they did earlier. Both the ladies seemed to have moved on in life and are happy in their own space. But looks like the private lives of celebrities often leads to awkward public moments. This certainly was one such instance for Ranbir-Alia.
