Alia Bhatt passes out on sets of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’

‘Student of the Year’ sees the introduction of Alia Bhatt along with the debuts of Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan. As with every other Dharma Productions’ film, promotions are under full swing and it seems they have taken their toll on Bhatt. News has emerged that the star-daughter recently collapsed on the sets of popular dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’.

The trio were in the midst of the song Disco Deewane from the movie when Bhatt allegedly fainted, according to Bollywood Hungama. Producer and director of the movie, Karan Johar, is also on the judging panel of the show. Upon seeing Bhatt’s condition he is thought to have ran to her aid and shooting commenced on his say so, once he was absolutely certain that she was able to continue. It is thought that Bhatt had collapsed due to over exertion.

‘Student of the Year’ releases on 19th October.
