Alia Bhatt opposite Ranveer Singh in Aditya Chopra directorial?

The rumour mills are at it again. Not long after it has been reported that Aditya Chopra had cast Ranveer Singh in his forthcoming film which he will direct, comes news of Alia Bhatt also being signed as leading lady.

The news is currently unconfirmed but it is thought that the actress has been approached for the film. It would see her act with Singh for the first time and would provide a fresh jodi which would be interesting to see on screen.

Singh, who is currently pre-occupied with the shoot of ‘Bajirao Mastani’, is proving popular with leading filmmakers and no doubt Bhatt’s popularity will also make this project one to watch out for, should it all fall into place.
