Alia Bhatt on why ‘Shaandaar’ failed

Alia Bhatt has been quite lucky in her career so far, as she has rarely faced failure. In fact, the only film Bhatt has starred in which failed to click at the Box Office was ‘Shaandaar’ (2015).�� The young actress recently revealed why she thinks the film did not click.

Magna Mags quote Bhatt as saying, “We didn’t have any synergy that’s why the film seemed disjointed.”

However, she is not bitter about the experience, and went on to add, “No hard feelings against any situation as such. I have no regrets from doing the film as I have a lot of pleasant memories from it. I needed that one ripping of the band aid where one of my films did not do well… And I think I have become way calmer as a person. I’m not hyperventilating about everything anymore. I’ve also learnt to be grateful for all the love and appreciation and warmth from the people.”

Bhatt is now looking forward to the release of Dharma Productions’ ‘Kapoor & Sons’, which also stars Sidharth Malhotra, Fawad Khan and Rishi Kapoor.
