Alia Bhatt on dancing with Shahid Kapoor

Shahid Kapoor is undoubtedly one of the finest dancers B-town has had. ��Formerly a dancer for Shiamak Davar, Kapoor has been a part of many dance numbers in the movies since his debut over a decade ago. ��His most recent co-star, Alia Bhatt, has gone on record to speak of her experience dancing with Kapoor.

IANS quote Bhatt as saying, “I was crying. ��Honestly, I don’t feel I can match up to him. ��The idea is not to match up to him but have fun with him. ��When he dances, he dances with joy and tells you, ‘Alia, don’t concentrate on the steps, think about the mood.’ ��When he does it, it doesn’t look too technical, but is technically beautiful and his overall body language is so vibrant and electrifying, which translates onscreen.”

Kapoor and Bhatt have been seen shaking a leg together in both of the song promos released for their upcoming film, ‘Shaandaar’. ��The songs, Gulaabo and��Shaam Shaandaar, are already winning both actors much appreciation for their energy levels and dance abilities.

‘Shaandaar’ has been directed by Vikas Bahl and releases 22nd October.
