Ayan Mukerji will be directing a trilogy, the first of which is called ‘Brahmastra.’ The film is being produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in main roles. The film also stars popular television actress Mouni Roy who will be stepping into Bollywood with Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Gold.’

Roy is supposedly getting along extremely well with Bhatt on the sets of the film, reports Filmfare. People from the sets of the film have said that the two stars enjoy each other’s company a lot and do not require either Mukerji or Kapoor’s presence when they are around each other.

A source close to the film told the media, “The schedule is hectic, keeping them busy for the most part of the day. But after the shoot wraps up, Bhatt and Roy are certain to party at nightclubs every day. In fact, we hear, they do not need Mukerji and Kapoor for company, leaving the boys to discuss football.”

Bhatt has a big 2018 ahead of her. She has started shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy,’ opposite Ranveer Singh as well as preparing for her role in ‘Brahmastra.’ She will also be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Raazi’ opposite Vicky Kaushal during the summer
