Alia Bhatt learns dance for item song in ‘Shaandaar’

Alia Bhatt, from her first few films, has shown exactly how much of a strong performer she is on screen. However, it seems dancing doesn’t come quite so easily for the actress as BizAsia has come to know that she is currently learning contemporary dance for a song in the forthcoming ‘Shaandaar’.

Talking to Deccan Chronicle, a source commented, “Alia has always been honest about the fact that she needs multiple rehearsals for facing the camera for a dance sequence. Besides, matching up to Sasha�۪s steps is no easy task. So director Vikas Bahl and Shahid have helped her get in touch with the best choreographers to help sail through the situation.”

“Alia is all praise for Deepika�۪s item number in Happy New Year and wants to achieve the same level of perfection,” continued the source.

Bhatt will be seen with Shahid Kapoor for the first time and no doubt she is wanting to be her best as he is such an acclaimed dancer.
