Alia Bhatt intentionally silent on Salman Khan’s exit from ‘Inshallah’?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s decision to shelve ‘Inshallah’ after his fallout with Salman Khan negatively impacted Alia Bhatt, but the actress has deliberately chosen to stay quiet on the matter.

“When Salman was out of ‘Inshallah’, Alia didn’t know what hit her. She has given a large chunk of her dates to the film, but she is not complaining. She doesn’t want to compromise the project by saying anything,” a source told The Asian Age.

Bhansali is eager to work with Bhatt, so she doesn’t want to sabotage the opportunity, “He did a small stint of shooting with Alia, and he was blown away by what she brought to the film. He doesn’t want to let go of the opportunity to direct Alia,” the source added.

Bhatt had previously mentioned how important her collaboration with Bhansali is to her, “The three directors on my wish list when I became an actress were Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and SS Rajamouli. One of them launched me as a heroine, and I am working with the other two.”

With ‘Inshallah’ stalled, Bhatt still has ‘Brahmastra’, ‘RRR’ and ‘Sadak 2’ scheduled for 2020.
