Alia Bhatt gives out beauty tips

Alia Bhatt, who is experiencing a fantastic run at the box office, is glowing with success.  The bundle of talent is also going great guns as a fashionista with her recent showstopper look for designer Namrata Joshipura’s show at the Amazon India Fashion week.

Bhatt, shared the secrets to her glow in a recent conversation with DNA India, telling her fans to “keep it simple and be true to yourself”.  The actress, who cited her grandmother and her mother as her beauty idols, also told her fans that for her beauty is subjective and focussed on how it’s not makeup but your attitude that makes you beautiful.  “Simple can be beautiful too. For me, less is always more, and I think your attitude, your behaviour, how you carry yourself — all determines your beauty”.

Whilst she shared her beauty secrets including oiling her hair once a week, eating a healthy diet full of green veg and fruit and maintaining a facial cleansing routine, Bhatt also revealed her love for makeup learning how to apply via watching her make up artists at work and confessed her eyes were her best feature for beauty products.

However it was her final comment that epitomised Bhatt’s attitude that has made her the youth icon “Don’t dress up for anybody but yourself”.

Perhaps not a better way to put it than as simply as that.
