Alia Bhatt: “Don’t think my age should be seen as a barometer for success”

Alia Bhatt has signed some pretty interesting projects in her career of seven years. She’s most recently been confirmed for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Inshallah’ and also SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’. Talking about this, she says her age shouldn’t matter on signing these movies.

“I don’t think my age should be seen as a barometer for success. Age is just a number. Of course I’m grateful for the films I’ve got and excited about the future. It’s also a little scary,” said the actress, in a recent interview with Mumbai Mirror.

She went on to add, “These beautiful opportunities have come into my life almost simultaneously and I hold them in great regard. They have made me more focussed and dedicated as an actress. I’m waiting to start the journey. They have already been announced so I’d rather work than talk about them.”

Bhatt will be seen next in ‘Kalank’ which releases on 17th April.
