Alia Bhatt does not allow success to sink in

Although Alia Bhatt seems to be at the receiving end of many jokes post her appearance on the last season of Karan Johar�۪s ��Koffee With Karan�۪, she appears to be quite intelligent and wise when it comes to making career decisions.�� The young star says she understands the importance of staying grounded and does not believe a star should ever allow success to sink in.

���Success shouldn�۪t sink in because then it goes to your head and you become over confident.�� Your work starts suffering��_ I don�۪t think that will ever help you to grow as an actor and a performer,�۝ Bhatt said to Mid Day.

Bhatt also accepts that being a star kid makes entrance into the competitive industry easier but she believes an actor still has to prove themselves to maintain a successful career.�� On this, she said, ���Obviously there was something that connected me with the audience that is allowing me to be able to choose and be happy with my work.�۝

After having debuted with Karan Johar�۪s directorial, ��Student Of The Year�۪ (2012), the actress went on to prove her acting abilities with ��Highway�۪ (2014) and ��2 States�۪ (2014).�� She will next be seen in this Friday�۪s release, ��Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania�۪.
