Alia Bhatt describes working with Karan Johar as “therapeutic”

Alia Bhatt who kick started he career in Karan Johar’s ‘Student Of The Year’ (2012) and who also regards the director as her mentor, talks about how it feels to work with Johar again in his forthcoming film ‘Takht’.

Reported on DNA India, in an interview with Vogue, Bhatt describes her reunion with Johar as “therapeutic”. An all star cast, ‘Takht’ also feature Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Anil Kapoor.

Also in the interview, the ‘Raazi’ (2018) actress revealed a bit about her role in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Bhramastra’, “It’s my most action-heavy film but it’s a different kind of organic action, not dishoom-dishoom,” said Bhatt who dismissed reports that ‘Bhramastra’ was a superhero film, “If you call it that, then people will imagine us running around the city in red underwear.” Again, the Mukerji directorial will be another multi-starrer with the Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Mouni Roy.

‘Takht’ is slated for 2020 release and ‘Brahmastra’ will be releasing in 2019, along with two other films in the pipeline – Zoya Akthar’s ‘Gully Boy’ and Abhishek Varman’s ‘Kalank’, also out next year.
