Alia Bhatt bags ‘Jagga Jasoos’ opposite Ranbir Kapoor?

‘Jagga Jasoos’ is reportedly the first film of Picture Shuru Productions, a joint venture of Anurag Basu’s and Ranbir Kapoor’s. The latest rumours suggest that Alia Bhatt had landed a role in the movie which will have two leading ladies and Kapoor as male lead.

The Mumbai Mirror report a source stating, “Anurag is busy with the script of the film and he is leaving no stone unturned to perfect the draft. In the middle of all this, he has met Alia and spoke to her about the film. The makers feel that she will be just apt for the role.”.

Bhatt has a few interesting forthcoming projects and no doubt she will definitely want to be a part of ‘Jagga Jasoos’. Another insider revealed, “Alia doesn’t want to let go off this opportunity. After all, Anurag is one of the highest paid and most sought after directors today”.
