Alia Bhatt as a hockey player in ‘Udta Punjab’?

Alia Bhatt had posted a photo of a hockey stick on her Instagram account a few weeks ago, with the words, “My new friend”. ��It has now been revealed that the reason behind this was that she is playing a hockey player in one of her upcoming films, ‘Udta Punjab’.

Speaking to��Hindustan Times, a source said, “Alia has been regularly going for her hockey training for about two hours in the morning. She has been doing so for over two weeks now…�� Since the film is set in Punjab, a state that is famous for its hockey players, Alia isn�۪t leaving anything to chance as she plays a professional hockey player in the movie.”

Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, ‘Udta Punjab’ also stars Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. ��The film also marks the Bollywood debut of Punjabi superstar, Diljit Dosanjh.
