Alia Bhatt & Aditya Roy Kapur signed for ‘The Fault In Our Stars’?

Hollywood produced a cinematic adaptation of John Green’s ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ in 2014, following which Bollywood had announced plans of the same. It is now being speculated that Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur have been signed on for the film.

DNA quote a source having told Bombay Times, “Alia was always the first choice for the film. In fact, the project had been planned with her in mind. Now, impressed with Aditya’s performance in OK Jaanu, the production house has approached him for the male lead. If everything goes as planned, the film should take off around June July 2017.”

Bhatt and Roy Kapur were part of a tour together, in the USA this year, titled ‘The Dream Team’. While they have not been onscreen together in leading roles, the latter did have also a cameo in Bhatt’s latest release ‘Dear Zindagi’.

Hindi adaptation will be produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and directed by Homi Adajania.
