Ali Zafar to show his art skills in ‘Kill Dil’

It’s a little known fact that established musician and actor Ali Zafar can also work some wonders with a brush, some paint and a canvas. Putting this talent forward, the celebrity has decided to make some art for the promos for his upcoming film ‘Kill Dil’.

According to reports, the makers of the film were trying to think of different ways in which they could market the project. Hindustan Times reported a source explaining, “During a meeting conducted by their film�۪s team, a member came up with the idea of getting some graffiti made. Ali volunteered to do so, informing everyone that he can paint.”

Still having some time before venturing into this contemporary form of art, the source went on to say how Zafar is still thinking of what he can conjure up, “He has been asking people for suggestions and discussing the colours he wants to use. The film�۪s team is working out the security arrangements and official permissions needed for this.”

Though having some experience in producing big works of art, this will be the actor’s first attempt in working in the form of graffiti. When contacted, Zafar explained, “I have done murals on walls and ceilings before, but I have never done graffiti. I am looking forward to it.”

When it comes to creative marketing, it seems our film makers are trying to pull out all the stocks. This promotional stunt sure does sound exciting, and hopefully will work in the ‘Kill Dil’ teams favour. There’s a lot of pressure here for Zafar in producing something that will bring audiences in. Though, with his creative talent as a musician and actor, this is the perfect chance for him to express his other creative talent.
