Ali Zafar sends legal notice to Meesha Shafi over sexual allegations

Ali Zafar has sent a legal notice to Pakistani singer, Meesha Shafi over sexual allegation claims.

Last week, Shafi surprised the film fraternity by accusing Zafar of being sexually harassed. She said, “I got booked for a concert. I was jamming with my band in Lahore and the organisers insisted that he was trying to get in touch. It started turning into a thing, and I was being seen as difficult or a diva, I got such feelers. I was avoiding him. I was asked to jam, figure out songs, scale and it happened while we were jamming.”

Reports say that Zafar will file a defamation case against Shafi and will take it further if she fails to apologise. Zafar’s advocate Ali Sibtain Fazli, said the media would be informed of developments in the case.

Zafar has denied the claims.
