Ali Fazal has certainly made a mark in Bollywood with notable performances in ‘3 Idiots’ (2009) and ‘Fukrey’ (2013).Fazal is also working with top producers, including the recent Mahesh Bhatt production, ‘Khamoshiyaan,’ (2015) but he is is no hurry to work with the Khans but that they are his inspiration.

According toDeccan Chronicle, Fazal said, “I don’t want to work with the Khans, they are my mentors. ShahRukh bhai has brought me here, Aamir was the first one I worked with and Salman…I am a die-hard fan of Salman Khan. Maybe one day I will probably go to that camp but I don’t want to work with them at this stage. I am trying to find my own ground. I think they have been great mentors to me, I have learnt so much from them.” His hunger for knowledge also comes from Aamir Khan, he has been an inspiration for him.

Fazal will also be seen in a cameo role in the much anticipated Hollywood film, ‘Fast and Furious 7’. On that he says he is very grateful to have gotten the opportunity. “Although I can’t reveal what my role is like in the film right now, but I can assure you it’s very exciting. It is not an Indian part, I got pulled in at literally the last minute and I am looking forward for the film to release.”

Although he doesn’t have any car racing scenes in the film, he thinks the same technology should be used in Bollywood, “Technologically if you see we are years behind the international way of filming a movie. I think that is what pushes us back. In India we look for jugaadu ways to pull off a decent shot. In Hollywood they have amazing technology. Matt Damon is not actually racing at that speed. It’s a suspended ring on the road that is going as fast. So for him he is actually sitting inside a car and the whole is moving.”
