Ali Fazal on Oscars 2018: “What an honour to be amongst the best of the best”

Ali Fazal has received international acclaim for his role as Abdul in the Oscar nominated ‘Victoria & Abdul’ (2017). Fazal, who attended the 2018 WME pre-Oscar party with girlfriend Richa Chadha, captioned his excitement for the film’s success on his social networking page.

On his Twitter handle @alifazal9, Fazal tweeted, “Was getting the last few glimpses at the academy presentation for hair and make-up nominations. What an honour to be amongst the best of the best. It’s already a victory for (nominees) Daniel Phillips and Lou Sheppard to be amongst the best ones in the world,” as reported by Mumbai Mirror. 

Fazal’s last Bollywood outing was the successful ‘Fukrey Returns’ (2017).
