International actress, Aleeze Nasser has made quite a splash with the first look from her debut in the upcoming Pakistani film ‘Yaara Vey’. Talking about working in the film and how she feels about the response she has received so far, Nasser spoke to BizAsiaLive.com ‘s Raj Baddhan about her new beginnings. The film is being distributed in the UK by House Of Advertising.
We recently got to see the first look of Aleeze Nasser in the upcoming film ‘Yaara Vey’, how did you feel prior to the unveil & now that the look is out?
I hope you liked it! It works in a weird way with me sometimes, prior to the release I was pretty calm as the team was doing their job and I was the observer. However, after the release I had a barrage of thoughts, some of excitement and some of wonder of what kind of response there might be coming forth…and this is just a poster I can’t imagine after the release of the actual movie😊
Personally as an actor one keeps making mental notes on what could have been done better, how I could have been better in a few places etc it just is a background music running constantly.
You’re making your acting debut with ‘Yaara Vey’, what emotions are you feeling before the film’s release?
There is a feeling of comfort as the long haul of shooting and completing the project is over, now we are in good hands with Eveready and House of Advertising UK. Also the fact that its still a while before the movie releases as the world is not back to its regular rhythm of operations. Personally as an actor one keeps making mental notes on what could have been done better, how I could have been better in a few places etc it just is a background music running constantly. Overall it’s a lot of excitement for sure.
The film is bankrolled by a big production house and will be distributed by Eveready Pictures – How has it been working with them?
Absolutely been amazing as it’s an international production house based out of the US and UAE Dubai, Beeline Productions got the team that was nothing but professional, experienced and moreover passionate to say the least. We shot in places with temperatures running in minus degrees and not a single person wavered. So proud to be associated with them all. They are well established in their fields and some even award winners. Now with Eveready distributing the movie we are again associated with the finest and the most experienced in the industry headed by Mr Satish Anand.
Pakistani cinema is at an all time high currently, with exciting new concepts and much more higher quality, what’s your take on this?
Couldn’t agree more, there was a time when I didn’t even know there were movies being made in Pakistan but they have grown in leaps and bounds with quality and content. It’s a very promising space the cinema is in at present.
Never have the final word, it’s our job done and the final word and the verdict would be of the audiences. Our prayer is just that we reach out to as many people as possible to bring them to us.
