Akshaye Khanna on ‘Mom’: “It’s a milestone in my career”

Akshaye Khanna is making his comeback to Bollywood in film ‘Mom’, a women-centric thriller, which also stars Sridevi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles.

Reported in the Times Of India, Khanna shared how working with two of the best in the industry, ‘Mom’ has been marked as a milestone in his career. “It’s a milestone in my career to be able to work with Sridevi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the finest actors we have today. It is a gem of a script and it was an honour to shoot with a gem of a cast and crew.”

Bonney Kapoor who has produced the film also praised Khanna’s performance. He said, “He is playing an important role and has done complete justice to it. It’s going to be his career’s finest performance. ‘Mom’ is Akshaye’s real comeback.”

Directed by Ravi Udyawar, the film will release on the 7th July.
