Akshay & Saif reunite for ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’

Star Plus’ soon to launch ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ will see Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan travel back to their time in ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’ (1994). They will surprise audiences with a performance to the film’s thrilling title track. The special episode was recorded recently, which will air on the channel next month.

Bollywood Life reports Kumar saying that Khan and he were missing choreographer Chinni Prakash on the TV show. Post-performance, Kumar said “I hope you guys liked this. But I have to say that we (Saif and I) really miss Chinni Prakashji today. He was the choreographer of the original song when we shot it years ago and today had he been here, this performance would’ve been so much better.”

‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ will be broadcast on Star Plus starting from the 30th September 2017. Kumar will feature as the Super Judge and comedians Hussain Dalal, Mallika Dua and Zakir Khan will be mentors. Khan appeared on the show to promote his upcoming film, comedy-drama ‘Chef’.
