Akshay Kumar’s biopic of Dada Kondke in trouble?

Akshay Kumar’s biopic of Marathi film actor, Dada Kondke is reportedly in trouble.

According to Mid-Day, the film, which was going to see Riteish Deshmukh essay the main role, has seen objection by the organisation, Dada Kondke Pratishthan. Akshay and his business partner, Ashwini Yardi bought the rights of the book ‘Ekta Jeev’ by Anita Padhye based on the life of the veteran actor.

A source told Mid-Day, “Akshay’s film is slated to go on floors soon, however, the organisation feels that even though the makers have bought the rights of the book, they need to sought permission from the members as well. So they have sent a letter to the makers expressing their views.”
