Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bell Bottom’ release date pushed back to August?

Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bell Bottom’ which was reported to release on the big screens on 27th July, could be pushed back again due to the ongoing pandemic.

According to Filmfare, with many cities in India still gripped by the continuing high cases of coronavirus the uncertainty of returning to cinema complexes remains. Raj Bansal, a distributor in Rajasthan shared that ‘Bell Bottom’ could now release in August, “Looking at the current situation I don’t think cinemas will fully open by 27 July so there is every chance ‘Bell Bottom’ may release on 13 August.”

However, filmmakers have not yet confirmed if any changes have been made. A close source said, “There is no decision taken on Bell Bottom yet as theatres are yet to open in the country.”

Apart from ‘Bell Bottom’, Kumar is still waiting patiently for his cop-verse ‘Sooryavanshi’ to release, and not forgetting his other string of projects which will also be hoping for theatrical release too.
