Akshay Kumar would love to be brand ambassador of Incredible India

Akshay Kumar, who once was awarded Padma Shri, is definitely a ‘man in millions’ for he has proved himself with all the hard work and dedication. Kumar has done some tremendous work in Bollywood and apart from that he is an amazing human being as he is always seen helping the needy be it in inform form of donating money to farmers, Chennai flood victims among others.

Now, Kumar is willing to be the brand ambassador of Incredible India. From the day Aamir Khan’s contract with the campaign ended, there was speculation that Kumar – among others – was on the list of contenders. However, Amitabh Bachchan is apparently the first choice.��Speaking to IANS, Kumae said, “It’s a big thing. Why not? I would love to be there. It’s a good thing.”

The ‘Special 26’ (2012) actor is busy with the promotions of his upcoming film, ‘Airlift’, which is based on the biggest evacuation in the history of mankind. Kumar is portraying the character of Kuwait-based Indian businessman Ranjit Katyal who with the help of Indian Air Force saves the lives of 1 lakh 70 thousand Indians. He said, “India is the greatest country ��� that is what we want to show in this film. ‘Airlift’ means air evacuation. The film shows how 1,70,000 people were evacuated from one place to other.”

‘Airlift’ which also stars Nimrat Kaur is all set to hit the theatres on 22nd January.
