Akshay Kumar vs Ajay Devgn on Indian Independence Day 2014?

Akshay Kumar’s ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara’ has been bearing the brunt of the success of ‘Chennai Express’ of late. However, the actor is set for another box office clash in a year’s time and this time it will be with Ajay Devgn.

BizAsia has learnt that Kumar’s ‘Gabbar’ may well coincide with the release of Devgn’s ‘Singham 2’ on Indian independence day in 2014. Buzz also suggests that there is similarity between the characters the two actors play in their respective which may make things even more interesting come August.

It seems clashing releases and postponements are the flavour of the day in B-town at the moment. No filmmaker wants to release their movie pitted against another. Who knows which one will trump the other?
