Akshay Kumar to turn television producer

Bollywood star, Akshay Kumar has spoken out about plans to turn television producer in the coming months.

The actor who already hosts ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ on Colors, is reportedly working on another television outing that is supposed to go on air later this year.

A source said, “The concept will be action-based and will include martial arts – something the actor is synonymous with. Several ideas regarding the show and its format are being tossed around for now.”

A spokesman for Akshay confirmed the developments, he said; “Akshay is in talks but at this stage it is too early to divulge details. He is keen to be part of the production side as well. As he is busy shooting for Tees Maar Khan at present, he will chalk out his television plans in coming weeks.”

Recently, Priyanka Chopra was confirmed as the new host for ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ and Kareena Kapoor said she was too busy for any TV assignments.
