Akshay Kumar is all set to start the second schedule of his next big project, ‘Airlift’. The team is waiting for the Diwalivacations to begin shooting, as the shoot will take place on school campuses in Jodhpur and Jaisalmer.

As according to the Deccan Chronicle, the shoot was initially supposed to take place during the summer vacation period, but was moved to October, due to the soaring temperatures in Rajasthan then. Producer Nikhil Advani confirmed, saying, “We start shooting on October 25th and will wrap up by November 16th. We wanted to shoot during the summer holidays, but given the temperature reaches 500c, we decided to shift it to the Diwali holidays. The film is based on the true story of the evacuation operation done by Air India to rescue Indians trapped in Kuwait during the first Iraq war in 1990. It was the biggest human evacuation in history. The film releases on January 22nd, 2016.”

‘Airlift’ also stars Nimrat Kaur and is produced by Advani and T-Series.
