Akshay Kumar to perform stunt in ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 9’

The former ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ host Akshay Kumar, is set to return to the show to carry out a stunt performance for season nine.

Reported on Mumbai Mirror, Kumar who anchored seasons one, two and four, is now hosted by director Rohit Shetty. It has been revealed Shetty has designed a stunt for the ‘Kesari’ (2019) actor, which involves a truck hot on his heels as he crosses hurdles. “Akshay will shoot for his portions at a city studio this week. During his appearance, he will also give the final five contestants a pep talk,” shares a source.

Out of the 12 twelve contestants, Bharti Singh, Ridhima Pandit, Aly Goni, Shamita Shetty, Aditya Narayan and Punit Pathak have made it to the top five.

Kumar who is also featuring in Shetty’s next cop instalment ‘Sooryavanshi’, is slated to release Eid 2020, with first look posters released today.
