Akshay Kumar to launch Anil Kapoor’s nephew

Akshay Kumar will be launching the nephew of Anil and Boney Kapoor in the film industry.

Its been reported that Mohit Marwah, will follow in the footsteps of cousins Sonam and Arjun Kapoor in B-Town. Times Of India said that he has been signed by Kumar and Ashvini Yardi’s company ‘Grazing Goat Pictures’ for ‘Fugly’. It will be directed by Kabir Sadanand and mark the debut of Olympic bronze-medallist Vijendra Singh.

A source close to Akshay told TOI, “A friend of Ashvini told her that Anil has a nephew Mohit who is quite cute. She saw his pictures on the Internet and called him for an audition in Sadanand’s office.”

Yardi confirmed the news to the paper, “We were very particular about the actor playing the lead role. We had auditioned many actors for the lead. We needed someone with a strong personality and a boyish charm. Mohit fits the requirements. He will be called Dev in the film.”

Elaborating on the film, the source said, “Fugly is a story of two boys and a girl. The rest of the cast is yet to be finalised. The film will go on floors in September and major portions of the film will be shot in Delhi and Ladakh”
