Akshay Kumar to begin work on ‘Robot 2’ next month

Akshay Kumar, who is currently busy promoting his next film ‘Airlift’, will begin working on ‘Robot 2’ in February.

According to PinkVilla, Kumar said, “The film has started. I will begin shooting my part next month.”

Kumar plays a negative character, along with protagonist Rajinikanth in lead.

Kumar explained why he took on this project as the bad-guy. He said, Because there is no lobbying of awards for the negative role. The film has a message in it. I believe in doing Films with social message and this is what attracted me in Robot 2.”

‘Robot 2’ releases in 2017.
