Akshay Kumar teams up with other stars for motivational song

Akshay Kumar has collaborated with Jackky Bhagnani and a whole heap of other actors to record a motivational song during the country’s fightback against the spread of coronavirus.

It has been reported that Kumar has lured Tiger Shroff, Vicky Kaushal, Ayushmann Khurrana, Taapsee Pannu and Ananya Panday to come on board for the song titled ‘Muskurayega India’. The song’s video has been compiled by video footage of actors who shot their portions at their respective homes.

The song has been composed by Vishal Mishra and goes online today. Kumar said, “At a time when our days are clouded with uncertainty, and life has come to a standstill, we want people to be certain of one thing — everything will be back to normal and all we need to do is put up a united stand against this pandemic. This song is one step towards doing that.”

Bhagnani, who also presents the song, told Mid-Day, “Akshay sir and I felt the only thing that helps, in times of uncertainty, is hope. The proceeds from this song will go towards supporting the central and state governments’ efforts in fighting the virus.”
