Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty & Paresh Rawal to reunite for ‘Hera Pheri 3’

The ‘Hera Pheri’ (2000) franchise has been the original comedy franchise, with Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal being the original laugh out loud entertainers. The trio is back with the third installment of the film, which will be shot at the end of the year, and will be directed by Indra Kumar.

Mirror reports a source saying, “The project was locked last month after the three actors gave their dates. It will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule between December 2018 and February 2019 and will release in the second half of next year.”

The late actor-director-writer Neeraj Vora, had planned to direct the tentatively titled ‘Hera Pheri 3’ as he had also directed the sequel. Pre-production began in 2016, but Vora had unfortunately went into a coma, and passed away last year. Good friend and producer Firoz Nadiadwala will be producing the film, and it will honor Vora. The source added, “Hera Pheri 3 will be a tribute to Neeraj’s work at the movies.”
