Akshay Kumar to star in Yash Raj Films’ next period drama?

With Akshay Kumar’s next ‘Gold’ set for release in August, there’s talk about him signing an epic period drama, which will be helmed by Yash Raj Films.

According to reports, the film will be directed by critically acclaimed filmmaker Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi. The film is expected to go on the floors in early February, with a lavish set being built. It will release in early 2020.

Yash Raj Films are scouting for other cast members that will join Kumar in the film.

Kumar already has a busy diary with ‘Kesari’ and ‘Housefull 4’ due for release in 2019.
