Akshay Kumar signed for ‘Kaththi’ remake

The Indian Film Industry is very well known for taking inspiration from their neighbouring industry from the South. So it comes to no surprise that the next film to be remade in Hindi will be Tamil film, ‘Kaththi’ (2014), where actor Akshay Kumar has been signed for.

According to Indian Express, Kumar will be playing the lead, which is a double role, and the makers Lyca Production and director AR Murugadoss of the original film will also be involved with its production. “Lyca Productions and AR Murugadoss will jointly produce the remake, which will be directed by debutant Jagan,” a source was reported revealing.

Reports suggest that shooting for the film will commence in April 2016.
