Akshay Kumar shoots with real lion

Just as one thought Akshay Kumar has done everything he can as an actor, it seems he has crossed all limits by his most recent stint.

In his forthcoming film ‘Singh is Bliing’ the actor will be seen handling a real lion. When talking about shooting with Mufassa the lion, NDTV reported the actor talking about his experience. “I don’t want people to think it’s a green mat. Not at all. I shot with it, I sat with the lion and I was shit-scared! Actually, in the middle of a shot, the lion got angry and broke some glass. Because he saw his own reflection and thought it was another lion,” Kumar explained.

He went onto add, “We shot in Cape Town and it was a lovely experience working there. The whole scene is shot in a car. He’s sitting next to me. Next to me.”

When asked where the lion’s trainer was, Kumar stated, “He was far away. I said what will happen, can you save me? And he said there’s not time, if he decides… but don’t worry he’s in a good mood today. We have fed him properly.”

Looks like the actor sure had his work cut out for him here. It’s a good thing the animal was in a good mood, otherwise there mayhave been more trouble than expected.
