Akshay Kumar proud to have played cupid in Asin-Rahul’s relationship

Akshay Kumar has expressed his happiness at playing cupid in Asin Thottumkal and Rahul Sharma�۪s relationship, who got married yesterday in Delhi.

Talking about the marriage, Kumar told PTI, ���It was a nice affair. Everything went off very well. Asin and Rahul are very private people. Everybody has respected their privacy. It was a very simple affair and today they are very happy and I am very happy that I played the Cupid. I hope that they live like this forever.”

Kumar was one of the first to reach the venue yesterday. He said he represented both sides and wanted to ensure the day ran smoothly.

Kumar added, ���It�۪s just a coincidence that I was in Delhi during her wedding. If I would have been in Mumbai, I would have flown to attend the wedding.”

Kumar is currently on a promotional spree for ‘Airlift’, which hits theatres this weekend.
