Akshay Kumar, Pooja Hegde & Hina Khan amongst names attending Cannes 2022

After a two-year no-show, the Cannes Film Festival returns to its full glory this month, with a slew of popular Bollywood stars gracing the red carpet.

Previously, it was announced Deepika Padukone will be attending the prestigious event. Now, it has emerged that Akshay Kumar, Pooja Hegde, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, AR Rahman, Hina Khan and R Madhavan will also be jetting off to the festival.

Times of India reports that Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Anurag Thakur will also be attending. Other names to appear are Tamannaah Bhatia, Pooja Hegde, Nayanthara, CBFC chief Prasoon Joshi, director Shekhar Kapur and folk artist Mame Khan.
