Akshay Kumar & Paresh Rawal together for ‘OMG Oh My God’ sequel

‘OMG Oh My God’ (2012) did well with the audiences. Now the sequel is on its way and will see Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal reunite on the screen once again.

“Akshay will start shooting for the sequel early next year. All the other details, including the script, are being worked upon,” said an insider, according to Hindustan Times. Kumar and Ashvini Yardi will be producing the second instalment.

Interestingly, director Umesh Shukla will apparently not be involved in the forthcoming film. “They (Akshay and Ashvini) are still in the process of finalising the director, which will be announced in a few weeks�۪ time. Akshay is excited about the core idea of the film. Although the duo was being pressurised for a long time [for a sequel], they didn�۪t want to give in until they found a solid idea,” added the insider.

Reports lately had said there were problems between Yardi and Kumar. However, the insider reveals, “All is well between them. Ashvini also wants to try her hand at TV, but Akshay doesn�۪t have much understanding of television. That doesn�۪t mean that they have split.”
