Akshay Kumar on working with Sajid Khan after #MeToo scandal

After the trailer release of ‘Housefull 4’, Akshay Kumar has come forward to lend support to Sajid Khan, who was originally roped in to direct the comedy caper.

Khan, who has been embroiled in controversy over the #MeToo allegations, has laid low for a few months. He was later replaced as director of ‘Housefull 4’ by Farhad Samji.

Kumar confirmed that the production house has decided not to give credit to Khan and not to add his name in the credit roll.

Talking about this, Kumar said, “Sajid has directed 60 percent of the film but this is the studios call and that is how it is going to happen,’ said Akshay Kumar. Talking about the Me Too movement, Akshay Kumar said that post the Me Too movement, there have been a lot of changes. Every production company I know, like Sajid Nadiadwala’s company, nowadays have officers on the set to deal with such cases. They make sure that nothing goes wrong. They are there to take complaints. There is a lot of security now, and we don’t want misbehavior happening.”

Khan who has been alleged of sexual misconduct by three women, has gain some sort of support by Kumar. He said he would work with Khan if he was given a clean chit. He added, “I don’t know what has happened exactly. And if he is acquitted, I will surely work with him.”
