Akshay Kumar on alleged fallout with Priyanka Chopra

Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra have not been seen together on-screen for about a decade and while rumours of an alleged fallout have been doing the rounds since then, neither has spoken out until today.

Rumours doing the rounds for many years was Kumar’s wife, Twinkle Khanna’s apprehensions of him working with Chopra. They have worked in five films together, with their last ‘Waqt’ releasing in 2005.

Elaborating for the first time about these rumours, Kumar was cited in DNA India saying, “There is nothing like that. I have worked on five films with Priyanka. It’s not like I don’t want to work with her. Except for Rani Mukerji, I have worked with every heroine. If there is an opportunity, I will surely work with Priyanka Chopra.”

When asked if he had any issues working with producers Farah Khan and Ekta Kapoor, he added, “Let us call Priyanka Chopra, Ekta Kapoor and Farah Khan and check if they have any issue with me. That way you will know for sure.”

Kumar is currently in the midst of promotions for ‘Jolly LLB 2’, out next weekend.
