He is Hindi Cinema’s most well known action hero, and with his latest venture ‘Baby’ (2015) having done well, Akshay Kumar is more than flattered with the great response it’s creating. though he’s hoping to be a least nominated for am award, he won’t be making any extra compromises just to receive one.
“Awards do make sense sense. But I won’t get desperate and compromise to get them. In the past, there have been times when I was asked to perform for an event and slash the price by half to receive an award, but I categorically told them that they give me the entire amount and keep the award,”Mid-Dayreported the actor stating.
Kumar has a lot more to think about than just awards. With a number of films such as ”Brothers’ which will also star Sidharth Malhotra, a film titled ‘Airlift’ and ‘Gabbar’ opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kumar is swamped with work.
Talking about his film ‘Gabbar’ which he has apparently lost a lot of weight for, Kumar went onto say, “In the film I play a vigilant officer who fights corruption in his unique way.”
‘Gabbar’ is set to release on 1st May.
