Akshay Kumar leaves restaurant staff surprised

Following demonetisation of Rs 1000 and Rs 500, most banks and ATM machines are said to have struggled to meet the demand for the new Rs 2000 bills, so it comes as a huge surprise when Akshay Kumar made a waiter’s day recently after dining with his family and leaving Rs 18,000 worth of notes in payment for the meal including a tip.

As quoted by Bollywood Life, “Akshay left the restaurant staff surprised by paying the bill in cash and he even gave them a heavy tip.” The ‘Rustom’ (2016) star is known to be one of the highest tax payers in the industry and supports the under privileged.

Bollywood is gearing up for Kumar’s next, ‘2.0’, which has already made headlines for being India’s most expensive film till date.
