Akshay Kumar is having a blast on his new comedy show for Star Plus, ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’. Kumar was recently left impressed with comedian-ventriloquist Vignesh Pandey, who has inspired him to start learning ventriloquism.
Pune Mirror reports a source saying, “Vignesh and his rebel puppet doll Anna are really popular and Akshay is fascinated by the way he changes and throws his voice to speak for Anna. He showed an interest in learning ventriloquism and Vignesh agreed to give him some lessons. Akshay will spend a few hours every week with him depending on his schedule, and if he picks up the art quickly, he may even perform on the show.”
Producer Ashvini Yardi has confirmed the news, saying, “I have known Akshay for over a decade and his interest in learning new things never fails to fascinate me. Vignesh will be starting his lessons from this week.”
Kumar was last seen in the successful ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ (2017).
