Akshay Kumar to judge new TV comedy show?

Akshay Kumar is making a comeback to the small screen. The National Award winning actor has been asked to judge on the ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’, which is also coming back after an eight year break.

Reported in DNA India, a close source confirmed Kumar will be a judge on the comedy show, who even revealed his nickname, saying he will be addressed as ‘Boss of comedy’. “He will be the main judge and there will be three mentors. The makers are planning to rope in a glamorous female host for the show. The earlier seasons were hosted by Perizaad Kolah Marshall with Shonali Nagrani also anchoring it once. This time it is likely to be hosted by Elli AvrRam,” the source said.

Kumar previously hosted ‘Dare 2 Dance’ and ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, and now ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ will be a another feather in his cap.
