Akshay Kumar injured on sets of ‘Thuppakki’ remake

Akshay Kumar is full swing into shooting for the Hindi remake of ‘Thupakki’ (2012). However, in a recent incident, Kumar was rushed to hospital.

During an action sequence, a truck is believed to have been driven over Kumar’s foot. The driver of the stunt is said to have mistakenly estimated the timing of the shot and run over the actor’s right foot.

Kumar was taken to hospital urgently where he received treatment for a small fracture. He has since been discharged and is in recovery.
