Akshay Kumar in ‘Awara Paagal Deewana’ sequel?

For a short while, there has been buzz that there would be a sequel to 2002’s ‘Awara Paagal Deewana’. Now it’s emerged that it is being planned and that makers are trying to bring Akshay Kumar back to reprise the role from the original.

According to Box Office India, Ahmed Khan will be collaborating with Bhushan Kumar and Feroz A Nadiadwala ��in producing the film which is currently at the scripting stage. Khan will also be directing the film which is expected to roll at the end of the year.

In the first film, Aftab Shivdasani and Suniel Shetty also featured but whether this will be the case for the second instalment remains to be seen.
