Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is on a career high with a number of blockbuster movies under his belt recently.

The actor will soon begin working on the biopic of former T-Series head-honcho, Gulshan Kumar. Talking about the film, Akshay told Pune Mirror, “It’s not an easy biopic to make. It takes a lot of time to structure the film like this right. My first film, Saugandh, was with T-series and I have memories of meeting Gulshanji back then.”

Akshay will be seen on Star Plus’ new show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ as Super Boss. Talking about the new TV project, he said, “There is so much stress in the world that doing a comedy show in itself is a message that people should keep laughing. I love that I get to sit back and watch people perform. It is a tough job to make people laugh,” he says, acknowledging that the film industry doesn’t give the genre its due. “Even award nights treat comedy in the same manner but it takes a lot of effort to amuse people. Paseene chhoot jaate hai bachchon (contestants) ke.”
