Akshay Kumar gifts ‘OMG! Oh My God’ team a Bhagavad Gita

It’s really great to find out how an actor gets into character. Some take it as far as living their own lives as their character. This is something that Akshay Kumar did as he prepared for his role as God for his forthcoming film ‘OMG Oh My God’.

As he signed on the dotted line, apparently he quickly went and informed his mother of his next venture. Hearing this, she prompted��the actor to start reading the Bhagavad Gita. Not only did Kumar obey his mum and become a vegetarian, but��he also gifted the entire crew and cast of the film a copy of the holy book too. ���When Akshay took on the role of God, he wanted to make sure the aesthetics in which his character was portrayed was not offensive. Akki himself is a firm believer in God,” Mid-Day��reports a source revealing.

Also starring Mithun Chakraborty and Paresh Rawal, ‘ OMG Oh My God’ is set to release on 28th��September, with a special appearance by Prabhu Deva and Sonakshi Sinha.
