Akshay Kumar: “Found happiness in doing critically acclaimed films”

Akshay Kumar has recently been praised for his performance in ‘Airlift’. He has said such a film comes only once in a lifetime but that he has found happiness in such films – more than he had thought he would.

Talking to Hindustan Times, the actor said, “I have found a lot of happiness in doing critically acclaimed films��_ more than I thought I would experience actually. Though numbers are great for business, I love to love my work, whether it�۪s successful or not. Sometimes, one has to do something challenging to feel worthwhile in this rat race we call the entertainment industry”.

Kumar also believes he’s lucky to have a happy family life, “���I wasn�۪t just lucky to marry Tina. I was lucky to also get to be part of her amazing family that is as mad as she is. It just makes my life at home so much more enjoyable (smiles)”.

The actor will be seen next in ‘Housefull 3’ and ‘Rustom’.
